Although the cooking oil that you cook the hash browns in can be bad for you especially if you eat too many hash browns.
The store bought hash browns usually contain preservatives and other non natural ingredients which could make them unhealthy when eaten in excess.
However when eaten in moderation the hash browns are healthy for you.
I like to also bake frozen hash browns which saves the oil from getting into my system when frying the hash browns in a skillet.
