Green Onions last at least 30 to 40 days without refrigeration.

You can store green onions at room temperature for around 30 to 40 days before they start going bad but you can keep the green onions in the refrigerator to keep them longer.

Refrigerating the green onions will keep them fresher longer and extend their shelf life.

When refrigerated the green onions will usually last up to 60 days before they start going bad.

If you want to further extend the shelf life of green onions you can chop the green onions up and then put them in a Ziploc bag or other freezer safe container and they will last for 6 months to a year.

I chop green onions up as well as white onions and freeze them to keep them longer and I've kept both green onions and white onions chopped up in the freezer for as long as a year and they've been fine.

I use them in soups, stews and chilly and other dishes.
