Bread that is store bough contains preservatives as well as things such as carbs, sugar and salt which can cause weight gain when eaten too much.
But when eaten sparingly or in moderation the bread is a healthy food.
The healthy amount of bread that is okay for people to eat is 12 slices of bread each day.
As long as you stay under 12 slices of bread per day you should stay healthy and maintain a healthy weight.
I would not be able to eat more than 12 slices of bread per day because I would get tired of it but you can eat more but it's not as healthy.
You should eat other foods as well.
Homemade bread if you can make it is much healthier though than store bought bread.
