Yes fresh cream is safe to eat one day expired.
Just because the fresh cream has expired and it's been a day or so or even a few weeks past the expiration date of the fresh cream it doesn't mean the fresh cream has gone bad.
As long as the fresh cream smells good and has no bad taste to it and it has been refrigerated the fresh cream will be safe to eat past the expiration date.
If the fresh cream smells bad or tastes bad then throw it out.
But if the fresh cream smells good and tastes good then it's still okay to eat past the expiration date.
The expiration date doesn't mean the fresh cream is bad but just means it's not as fresh as before.
