Dried Squid is pretty high in Cholesterol so if you need to watch your cholesterol levels then do not eat much dried squid.

Dried Squid in moderation is okay when you have high cholesterol but eating too much dried squid can increase your cholesterol levels.

A 3 ounce serving of raw dried squid contains around 198 milligrams of cholesterol which is not too bad but if you eat more than a 3 ounce serving then you could increase your cholesterol levels.

As long as you keep an eye on your cholesterol levels then eating a bit of dried squid should be no problem.

You can eat dried squid raw if you want too but it's not as flavorful as cooked dried squid.

I tried dried squid raw before and I didn't really like it but when it was cooked the dried squid tasted much better and I though I would never like squid at all.

Dried squid is sometimes served in things such as sushi or sashimi and as long as the dried squid is fresh it's okay to eat it raw.

Your tastes may vary but I would not enjoy it myself when eaten raw.

Many people though do eat dried squid raw and they like it so it's a personal taste.
