No you should never leave the house while your instant pot is on and cooking food.
The instant pot can be left alone for a short while such as while you're taking a shower, going outside for a few minutes etc.
But you should never leave the house while the instant pot is one because it could cause a house fire or at least burn your food.
The instant pot could also explode in the house if you left it alone so do not leave the instant pot alone.
The instant pot should cook the food in a quick enough time so that the food will be done and then you can eat it before leaving the house.
Slow cookers or crock pots can be left on while away from home and those cook the food slowly but an instant pot builds pressure so you should always watch it and then remove the food when it's done.
