You can eat the skin of the salmon if you want too and the skin of the salmon when eaten does provide some health benefits.
But if you do not want to eat the skin of the salmon then just remove the skin of the salmon and throw it out.
The skin of the salmon contains more of the same minerals and nutrients contained in the salmon itself so it's good for you to eat the salmon skin.
However I prefer to remove the salmon skin before eating it because I just don't like the skin of the salmon when eating my salmon.
That is the way most people eat their salmon is they remove the skin first and then eat it.
But the skin of the salmon is edible and safe to eat.
