Yes you can freeze picante sauce as well as any other salsa and it will last around 6 months to a year.

When freezing the picante sauce or salsa place it in covered airtight containers or heavy duty freezer bags.

When frozen the picante sauce and other salsa has a longer shelf life but freezing picante sauce and other salsa will cause the sauce to lose it's freshness and it won't taste as good.

But it will still be tasty enough to not be a problem but you may notice a change in the taste of the picante sauce if you freeze it.

If you refrigerate the picante sauce the picante sauce will last for around 7 days in the refrigerator.

If you refrigerate the picante sauce make sure you seal it up as well so that it doesn't absorb other food odors.
