Coffee can raise the pressure in some peoples eyes because of the caffeine.

Usually drinking non caffeinated coffee will not raise a persons eye pressure.

People at risk of getting their eye pressure raised by drinking coffee are those who have glaucoma issues.

Not everyone who drinks coffee will experience an increase in their eye pressure but some people who have and live with the condition of open angle glaucoma/ocular hypertension.

So if you do have that open angle glaucoma/ocular hypertension then you may need to watch the amount of coffee you drink or drink caffeine free coffee instead.

If you think your eye pressure is increasing from drinking coffee then it would be a good idea to discuss it with a doctor.
