The time it takes for pot pies to be done and fully cooked depends on the size of the pot pie.
However for most pot pies it takes around 25 to 35 minutes for a pot pie to fully cook in the oven.
Pot pies are done, cooked and ready to eat or serve when the crust of the pot pie is golden brown.
If you have a meat thermometer you should stick the thermometer in the center of the pot pie and when the pot pie reaches a temperature of 160 F then the pot pie is done and ready to eat.
If the temperature hasn't reached 160 F in the middle of the pot pie then it needs cooked a bit longer.
Pot pies should be cooked in the oven at a temperature of between 400 F to 425 F.
