Humans can and do survive without eating any meat so humans do not actually need meat in their diet to survive.
There are plenty of people who avoid meat because they are vegetarians and don't like to eat meat because they don't like killing the animals to eat them.
So they survive on vegetables alone and get along just fine and actually those vegetarians are likely healthier than those who eat meat.
Still humans are designed to eat meat otherwise we would not be able to digest it.
But some meat is very fattening such as bacon, hamburger, sausage etc and could cause health issues such as heart attacks, strokes, heart disease etc when eaten too much.
But in moderation all kinds of meat are healthy enough to eat and the protein that the meat gives you is healthy for you.
