Energy drinks are safe in moderation but when you drink too many energy drinks it can become dangerous because it messes with your nerves and blood pressure and can possibly lead to a heart attack, stroke or heart disease.
That can then eventually lead to death.
Drinking 1 or 2 energy drinks per day is generally safe and if you drink more than 2 or 3 energy drinks everyday then you could be harming your health.
For healthy people the healthy dose of caffeine per day is 400 milligrams (mg) of caffeine a day.
That is about what is in 2 cans of energy drinks so I would not advise having more than a couple energy drinks per day.
I drink energy drinks in moderation and only once or twice per week.
But you could drink 1 or 2 energy drinks per day and you should be safe.
