You can drink red wine with lobster if the red wine is what you prefer to drink.
But red wine isn't really the best wine to pair with eating lobster but if you desire red wine you certainly can drink it with the lobster.
Instead or regular wines Lobster really goes well with Champagne and it's what I prefer to drink when I go out for a dinner of lobster and Champagne.
Some good wines that do go well with lobster are Rose, Chianti, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Chardonnay.
If I'm drinking wine with lobster I prefer the Chardonnay wine.
