Yes you can microwave hot dogs.
When microwaving hot dogs you cook them in the microwave for around 30 to 40 seconds and be sure to keep an eye on them.
As the hot dogs cook in the microwave they start to swell out and could explode which has happened to me.
So as long as you set the cooking time to 30 or 40 seconds and watch the hot dog as it cooks in the microwave it will cook just fine.
The hot dogs will start to split and then if left in the microwave too long it eventually swells enough to explode.
But cooking the hot dogs in the microwave is okay and I do it a lot myself.
