Yes chickpeas are pretty high in carbs and in one can of chickpeas the one can of chickpeas contain around 45 grams of carbs.

So if you're on a low carb diet you might want to only eat half a can or just once can of chickpeas every once in awhile.

Chickpeas are good for weight loss though since they are low in calories and they are chock full of vitamins and minerals which makes them a healthy food to eat.

Chickpeas are very healthy for you and are a good source of iron, phosphate, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, and vitamin K.

All those vitamins and nutrients help to build strong bones and chickpeas can also help keep you feeling full while aiding in weight loss.

Chickpeas are low in calories but also help you feel full so that you can maintain a healthy weight or lose weight while not feeling hungry.

The vitamins and nutrients in chickpeas can also prevent certain diseases such as cancer, and they can even boost your immune system.

I love chickpeas and eat them almost daily and I've noticed my health has improved since.
