When cake contains raw eggs there's a potential there for Salmonella bacteria but cooking the cake batter into a cake kills the Salmonella.
But the raw cake batter could contain Salmonella so there's that risk when eating raw cake batter but if you don't put any eggs in the raw cake batter then there's no chance of getting sick from the raw cake batter.
Very little eggs do contain Salmonella bacteria though so you have a very little chance of getting sick from the raw cake batter.
I've eaten raw cake batter quite a bit over the years both as a kid and an adult and never once have I gotten sick from it.
However if you do eat the raw cake batter and become sick you should go to the emergency room and get treated.
But the chance of getting sick from raw cake batter is slim to none and you have a 1 in 100 percent chance of getting sick from the raw cake batter.
