Yes traditionally the lobster rolls and lobster meat is served to you cold and not warm.

Lobster rolls are typically served cold with mayonnaise either tossed with the meat or spread onto the meat for the lobster roll.

If you prefer to have the lobster meat warm or hot when served you certainly can have it that way and just let the waiter know or if you're making the lobster roll yourself just serve it warm.

I prefer the lobster meat to be warm myself so I always ask to be served the lobster roll warm and the waiter lets the cook know about it and they serve it to me that way.

I tried lobster rolls cold before and they just aren't as good to me that way but a lot of people to enjoy the lobster rolls cold.

Lobster rolls are most often served cold but you can eat them warmed up if you want too.

When you order a Lobster roll the Lobster Rolls are usually served cold and not hot or warm.

When Lobster Rolls are served in Maine they are served on New England-style hot dog buns which are split on the top instead of the side and have flat sides for grilling.

The meat of the lobster roll is served cold and mayonnaise is typically spread inside the bun or tossed with the meat.

So when you make lobster rolls at home you can serve the lobster rolls cold if you want too but if you prefer to have the lobster rolls hot or warm when eaten you can do so as well.

It doesn't really matter but I prefer the lobster meat to be hot and not cold because I find the lobster rolls more enjoyable when the lobster meat is hot and not cold.
