All Cherries including sweet cherries do contain melatonin which when eaten the sweet cherries can help you fall asleep and stay asleep.

Melatonin is a natural hormone that helps people sleep and is found in cherries including tart cherries and sweet cherries as well as some other fruits and plants.

Melatonin can also be bought over the counter in the form of melatonin pills which can help increase the melatonin in your body to help you fall asleep.

So if you're having trouble sleeping you can either eat a handful of cherries before bed or take some melatnonin sleeping pills.

I've started eating cherries before bed and they help me sleep.

The cherries and cherry juice are also good for gout so if you have gout the cherries or cherry juice can help get rid of and treat gout.
