A electric 2 slice toaster uses around 800 to 1,000 watts depending on the size of the toaster.

A toaster oven uses around 1,000 to 1,500 watts of electricity depending on the setting and temperature you have it on.

If the toaster oven is using both electric elements at the top and bottom then it will use more electricity and if it is using both heating elements then it will use more electricity.

Your electric 2 slice toaster will usually use less electricity than a toaster oven.

But the toaster oven can be used for more than just making toast.

A toaster oven will always use less electricity though than a regular sized electric oven since an electric oven uses around 5,000 watts while the toaster oven uses around 1,000 to 1,500 watts.
