Amazon owns and operates several data centers around the world and throughout the USA.
The main Amazon data center resides in northern Virginia which is the most significant data center of Amazon.
Aside from the Northern Virginia Data Center Amazon also owns and operates Data Centers in other places such as eight Amazon Data Centers in San Francisco, eight in Seattle, and seven in Oregon.
Amazon also has data centers in Dublin, Ireland, four in Germany, and three in Luxembourg.
It takes several data centers to operate the major online retailer and website Amazon.
And to think that Amazon website got started out of a garage years ago and now it's a larger operation than Walmart.
