Yes Pistachios can help some people sleep because they contain a compound known as Melatonin which is inside your body naturally and produced by your body naturally.

The Melatonin helps you fall asleep and stay asleep so by increasing your intake of the Melatonin you can get better sleep.

Pistachios are perfectly fine to eat at night as a bed time snack.

I keep a bowl of pistachios near by bed so that I can grab some Pistachios at night before bed and eat them as I use my Laptop computer or read a book.

The Pistachios are a healthy bed time snack and they can also help some people sleep and they're full of nutrients, antioxidants and many vitamins and minerals.

Eating Pistachios is also supposed to provide your body with Melatonin which is a natural chemical in your body that helps your body sleep.

Just don't eat too many Pistachios as they could cause stomach aches and diarrhea but eaten in moderation the Pistachios are a very healthy bedtime snack or a snack for anytime.

I also wake up in the middle of the night feeling a bit hungry and then I reach for the Pistachios but also make sure you have a glass of water nearby as well because the Pistachios can make your mouth dry and your throat dry and you might need to cough.

Drinking some water along with the Pistachios helps keep your mouth lubricated and keeps the Pistachios from choking you.
