The biggest search engine that came before Google Search came online was Yahoo Search which was very popular before Google Search.
Still billions of people search through Yahoo Search and Bing Search yearly so they still see a significant amount of searches.
I get a lot of website traffic still from Yahoo Search and Bing Search and I rank faster for some terms in Yahoo and Bing search.
Still Google Brings me a lot of search traffic as well but both Search Engines are great for bringing in lots of targeted website traffic.
Way before Yahoo and Google was Archie Search Engine which was the first search engine that was put online in 1990 which as of now as 29 year years ago.
I also remember Ask Jeeves Search Engine but mostly used Yahoo Search before Bing Search and Google came out.
I do a majority of my searching the internet through Google Search but still sometimes search Bing Search for things that I cannot easily find on Google Search.
