A litigator is a lawyer who mainly works on lawsuits and helps a person win a lawsuit such as when they sue a company, person etc.

Litigators are an attorney whose practice is focused on litigation, that is lawsuits.

Lawyers can work on lawsuits as well but a lawyer can also focus on criminal cases as well and not just lawsuits but the litigator just focuses on lawsuits.

If you're a litigator then you'll be doing cases related to lawsuits and helping people win lawsuits when they want to sue someone or a company.

IF you're a trial lawyer you'll mainly be focusing on trials and helping a person who has been arrested and are being charged with a crime get out of prison time, jail time, fines etc.
