As long as the dove meat has remained frozen the dove meat should easily last up to a year and sometimes longer.
But for the best taste and freshness it's best to eat the dove meat within 6 months because after 6 months the dove meat starts to lose it's freshness.
But the dove meat would still be safe to eat although it won't be as good as it was before.
I've had dove meat in the freezer for 2 years before and it was still safe to eat and made for great soups and stews.
Just keep the dove meat or any other meat frozen and it should easily last over a year although meat does get less fresh tasting the older it is.
But when it's been frozen it's still safe to eat it once you thaw it out.
