All goose breeds are good for goose meat and have a great taste to them.
But some breeds such as the Saddleback Pomeranian Goose is one of the best goose breeds when it comes to eating goose meat from.
It's one of the goose breeds that have been used for goose meat for years and it's a very tasty in my opinion goose meat.
As for tastes of the goose meat, If you've ever tasted duck meat the goose meat sort of tastes like the duck meat or like chicken.
I love goose meat and it's much more flavorful than Turkey is so I always have goose meat if possible on Christmas and Thanksgiving instead of turkey.
I like turkey if the turkey is in soups, stews etc but I cannot stand to eat turkey on it's own unless it has something to flavor it.
Turkey doesn't have much of a taste to it but the goose and duck do and goose and duck to mea t least tastes about the same.
In my opinion also goose meat has a bit of a chicken taste to it as well which is great.
Also goose meat is a dark meat, and can be tough chewy and/or quite fatty.
