Most bottled water is just tap water that comes from city water supplies and is just filtered and cleaned before being bottled.
The chlorine is usually removed from the water before it's bottled.
But other than that the bottled water really is no better than your regular tap water other than having the chlorine stripped out of it.
Some bottled water factories may get their water from a deep water well on their property which makes that bottled water a bit better than the water you get out of your water tap at home.
In my opinion buying bottled water is just not worth the money and is very expensive and it's cheaper to get water out of your tap.
I actually have a water well on my property where I can get water free of cost other than the electricity and the well water is much better than any bottled water I've tasted and it's fresher.
However if I were out of water and needed a drink badly then I would pay for the bottled water but it's really not worth the cost other than that to buy bottled water.
The plastic used to bottle the water is also bad for the environment as well.
