Chicken Soup will easily last up to 5 to 7 days in the refrigerator as long as you keep the chicken soup in a sealed container.
If I don't plan to eat the chicken soup within 4 days then I will placed the sealed container of chicken soup into the freezer and when you freeze the chicken soup the chicken soup will last in the freezer for 6 months to a year and sometimes longer.
Then you can just thaw the chicken soup out when needed.
I make a big pot of chicken soup and then place the chicken soup into freezer safe airtight containers and then keep the chicken soup in the freezer for 1 to 2 years before eating it.
The chicken soup loses it's freshness after 6 months but frozen chicken soup will last quite a long time.
