As long as the frozen shrimp has been kept frozen and the shrimp is warm water shrimp which nearly all shrimp you buy in the grocery stores is you can eat the frozen warm water shrimp raw without getting sick.

I've tried eating some frozen shrimp raw however I didn't like the taste or texture of the raw shrimp but my friend likes eating frozen shrimp raw sometimes.

Myself I just couldn't eat it or get it down my throat but I do love shrimp when it's cooked all the way.

As long as the frozen shrimp has been kept frozen prior to eating the frozen shrimp there is no risk to your health if you do eat the frozen shrimp raw.

But it's usually unpleasant for some people to eat raw shrimp so that's why most people eat the shrimp cooked.

Frozen shrimp can be eaten raw as long as you're not pregnant.

Shrimp can be eaten raw or undercooked as long as you're not pregnant.

If you're pregnant you should not eat raw shrimp or any raw fish as it could contain parasites that could cause health issues with the unborn baby and pregnancy.

Also there's a small chance that you could get sick from bacteria and parasites that the raw shrimp could contain.

However many people safely eat raw shrimp all the time without getting sick.

Some people have eaten raw shrimp and have been just fine but eating raw shrimp is really not all that safe and not recommended.

When you eat raw shrimp you risk getting food poisoning from the raw shrimp due to bacteria that can be contained in the raw shrimp.

Raw Shrimp also tastes awful at least to me when i tried it and couldn't get even one piece of raw shrimp down my throat.

According to health regulations the shrimp is unsafe to eat when raw and it's not recommended.

Always cook the shrimp and any other shell fish to prevent the possibility of getting food poisoning.
