When frying eggs on a griddle or an electric skillet you should set the temperature of the griddle or electric skillet at 300 F degrees which is the perfect temperature for a cook fried egg.
Having the temperature of the griddle or electric skillet any hotter than 300 then the eggs may fry and cook too fast.
When frying the perfect egg the important thing is to use just enough heat and not too much heat to avoid burning the fried eggs or cooking them too fast.
I've always fried my eggs as 300 F and my fried eggs have always come out perfect and I've never burned any eggs doing it that way.
I also add some butter to the skillet to keep the fried eggs from sticking and the butter for the eggs in the skillet gives the eggs a good buttery flavor as well.
