As long as you keep the eggs refrigerated the eggs will keep around 5 weeks past the best by or use by date.

Just be sure to keep the eggs in the refrigerator and use the eggs within 5 weeks to prevent them from going bad.

If you crack the egg and it smells bad then throw it out and do not use the rest of the eggs either because it's likely the rest of the eggs in the carton of eggs are bad as well.

You can also test to see if eggs are good or bad by doing a floating egg test.

Fill a bowl with some water and place the egg in the bowl of water and if the egg floats to the top and stays there the egg is bad.

If the egg sinks to the bottom of the bowl of water then it's fresh and still good to eat.

If the egg floats to the bottom but stands up on one end it's still good to eat but not as fresh.
