Myiasis is an infestation by fly larvae (maggots) that often occur in open wounds or tropical regions that cause a localized raised lump or sore.
And cutaneous larva migrans is caused by hookworm larvae from contaminated soil entering your skin, which leads to an itchy, winding, creeping red rash, instead of visible worms emerging.
