Does eating rice increase weight?

Eating rice can increase your weight and can cause weight gain.

Just one cup of rice contains 200 calories so if you eat a lot of the rice on a daily basis you can increase your weight significantly.

But if you just eat rice on occasion then you should not gain much weight.

I eat Mexican and Spanish Rice every few days and I haven't gained any weight but of course I exercise daily by walking, jogging or running.

I try to walk or jog to wherever I'm going if possible and only take my car when absolutely necessary as the exercise from the walking or jogging or running does me good and will do you and everyone else good too for their health.

Rice is very healthy though so it's good to eat and helps make you feel full and it's easy to prepare and cook as well.
