Sauerkraut goes good with fish, smoked fish, salmon, hot dogs, soups and stews, cooked with stock, beer or wine, with sausages or salted meats.
I love to eat sauerkraut with salads as well as it really does go great with just about anything.
You can put sauerkraut on just about anything you want too such as hamburgers, steaks, or any other meats or even make a sauerkraut sandwich with either just some sauerkraut between the bread.
Or put the sauerkraut on the lunch meat and then make a lunch meat and sauerkraut sandwich which is also delicious.
