Red meat and any other meats usually stay in your colon for 1 to 2 days because meat including the red meat is usually harder to digest than other foods.

So it takes between 33 to 47 hours for most meat to leave your large intestines and then exit your colon but it all depends on the body and how much other food you've eaten before.

Sometimes in rare cases it can take up to 72 hours to fully digest red meat or some other meats and have it fully leave your colon and body and be pooped out.

Some other foods can take less than 8 to 24 hours to digest and leave your intestines and colon.
