Most hotel WiFi is secured and requires usually a room number or access code or the password to login to the hotel WiFi.
Hotel WiFi is usually setup on a guest network which is open but also needs some sort of access code to sign into the WiFi.
So that makes hotel WiFi pretty secure however hackers can still access the WiFi if they're good enough at hacking so I would not doing any financial transactions through the hotel WiFi or any public WiFi or log into any bank accounts etc on public or hotel WiFi just to be safe.
But using hotel WiFi for other things is pretty safe and many people do use it and you really should if you're paying for a hotel and want to use the internet.
