Cabbage is loaded with fiber and raffinose which is a leading cause of gas production in your stomach.
So if you eat too much cabbage then you can expect to have some bloating and gas buildup in your stomach.
That goes for some other vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower and bok choy as they all contain that gas producing fiber and raffinose which causes bloating and gas buildup if you eat too much of it.
Cabbage is very healthy and contains antioxidants and Vitamins as well as being high in water content and is great to eat in moderation but it is possible to eat too much of it.
