The expired Royce Chocolate may not taste as good or the texture might have changed but the Royce Chocolate even when expired is still safe to eat.
Royce Chocolate usually expires within 3 months but it's still safe to eat it even after the expiration date so you do not have to throw it out when it expires.
I eat expired chocolate including Royce Chocolate and never have gotten sick from it.
Just be sure to store the Royce Chocolate in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity and the chocolate will be okay.
