When put in the refrigerator the Turkey can last up to 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator.
If you want to make the Turkey last longer than 4 days then put it in the freezer instead.
When a Turkey is kept frozen it can last up to a year or more before going bad.
I've kept turkeys frozen for 2 years before without any problems and use them for mixing with stews and other dishes.
If I'm gonna cook the turkey within the next day I will remove it from the freezer and put in the refrigerator to allow it to thaw out and then cook it.
