Spreadable Butter can be frozen and in fact freezing the spreadable butter will increase the shelf life of the butter.
When you freeze the spreadable butter it will keep for up to a year or more but if you just refrigerate the spreadable butter it will only keep in the refrigerator for up to 4 months.
Spreadable Butter freezes very good and thaws out nicely and remains fresh like it was before freezing it.
If the butter is in a container make sure the container is tightly sealed or the butter in the package is wrapped in some plastic wrap to help avoid any food odors being transferred to the butter from the freezer.
