Yes dandelions are edible and you can eat all parts of the dandelion including the stem.
I used to eat the yellow dandelions as a kid and my mom thought they were not edible so she took me to the doctor and the doctor told her that dandelions were actually edible and healthy for me.
I still like to snack on dandelions in my yard sometimes as they're very sweet tasting and very nutritious for you.
Just make sure you don't eat the dandelions that are in dog parks or anywhere where dogs or other animals might have been because they might have been peed on.
But other than that the dandelion is very delicious and edible and you make salads with them too.
