Both Extra Virgin Olive Oil and regular Olive Oil are pretty much the same oils however the Extra Virgin Olive Oil is much purer and doesn't go through much process when it's made.
Regular Olive oil contains some other chemicals but extra virgin olive oil doesn't contain those chemicals and is a more natural form of the olive oil.
So since Extra Virgin Olive Oil doesn't go through the process with chemicals and other additives like regular olive oil does it means that Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the healthier type of Olive Oil.
Still even the regular Olive Oil is much healthier to cook with unlike many other types of cooking oils.
