Molded Chocolate will keep fresh for up to 6 months if you refrigerate the molded chocolate during that time.
You can keep the molded chocolate out of the refrigerator for the 6 months but it will keep fresher in the refrigerator.
The molded chocolate will still be edible even after 6 months although it just won't taste as good so if you have molded chocolate past 6 months and still want to use it you can use the expired molded chocolate for cooking with.
You won't notice the stale taste of the expired molded chocolate when you cook it in something.
