Vacuum Sealing meat helps the meat stay fresher longer but it doesn't keep the meat from spoiling sooner in the refrigerator.

The vacuum sealed meat will last in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 days before it goes bad.

You can keep the vacuum sealed meat longer if you freeze it and when frozen the vacuum sealed meat should last from 6 months to a year.

Spoiled meat will smell rotten and usually become slimy depending on the type of the meat so if in doubt throw the meat out.

Sometimes meat may be still good 7 days in the refrigerator depending on the type of meat when it's vacuum sealed but most types of meat will go bad within 5 days of being refrigerated if you do not freeze it.
