Refrigerating chocolate usually doesn't ruin the chocolate although sometimes it may absorb the odors of other foods in the refrigerator if you don't seal off the chocolate before putting the chocolate into the refrigerator.
Too keep the chocolate fresh in the refrigerator and prevent it from absorbing odors of other foods and having the taste change wrap the chocolate tightly in some plastic wrap which also prevents condensation as well as the odor on the chocolate.
Then place the wrapped chocolate into an airtight sealed container and then put it in the refrigerator and it should be good.
