Is the potassium in the skin of the potato?

The potato itself contains some potassium along with the skin of the potato but most of the potassium is indeed contained in the skin of the potato.

So if you want to get most of the nutrients and potassium then it's a good idea to consume the skin of the potato along with the potato itself.

The skin of the potato is more concentrated in potassium and the nutrients so you get more health benefits eating the potato skin along with the potato itself.
