Whenever you miss a court date the judge will issue a bench warrant for your arrest.
That bench warrant allows the police to arrest you when they come into contact with you and then you'll be taken to jail and held in jail until you can bond out.
If you accidentally miss your court date you need to contact an attorney or your attorney and discuss it with them
If it has only been a few days since you've missed your court date report to the Central Clerk's Office in the borough your case was scheduled to clear up the warrant.
You need to make sure that you can appear at court because you will get a warrant out for your arrest and it will make it harder on you if you don't appear.
