Can you use cream instead of milk when baking macaroni and cheese?

Yes cream or even evaporated milk such as carnation milk can be used as a substitute when making macaroni and cheese.

I find that evaporated milk makes a better tasting macaroni and cheese than using regular milk does.

You can also use heavy whipping cream to make a very good tasting and cheesy macaroni instead of milk.

Macaroni is good in the fridge for up to 5 days.

If you want to keep the macaroni longer than 5 days you should place the macaroni in a sealed container and freeze it.

When frozen the macaroni will keep in the freezer for up to a year although it's at best quality for 3 to 6 months after freezing it.
