When taking ibuprofen for a toothache, it often takes the ibuprofen between 30 minutes to 1 hour for the ibuprofen to work to stop a toothache.
For me when I take ibuprofen for a toothache, the toothache starts to go away and ease up within 25 to 30 minutes.
Although sometimes it can take 45 minutes and an hour for the toothache to fully stop hurting.
Be sure to drink a full glass of water with the ibuprofen so that the ibuprofen flushes through your system properly.
You can also use a salt water rinse and even some clove oil on the toothache or even use some Red Cross, Toothache Medication that instantly stops the toothache.
Sucking on some ice or placing some ice near the tooth that is hurting can also help ease a toothache.
I've also had great luck with the little bottles of Red Cross, Toothache medication like I mentioned above, as although it tastes bad and can make your stomach upset and even burn your lips, the instant pain relief from the Red Cross, Toothache medication is well worth it.
