Taking ibuprofen in capsule form that is expired will not hurt you.

You can safely take ibuprofen in capsule, tablet form or any other form of ibuprofen that is expired and it will not harm you.

While expired ibuprofen is safe to take, it might not be as effective as non expired ibuprofen but can still work.

I've taken expired ibuprofen that was 4 and 5 years expired and it has never harmed me and it did work just fine.

You might need to take an extra dose of the expired ibuprofen if it's not working for you as the expired ibuprofen can lose it's potency and become less effective.

But other than that, there's no harm in taking expired ibuprofen or even expired aspirin.

Expired aspirin and expired ibuprofen are both safe to take although they can lose their potency over time.

The longer the ibuprofen and aspirin are expired the less potent they become, but they will remain perfectly safe to take.
