There's no place on Earth with 100 percent no germs.

Microbes like fungi, bacteria and viruses are very highly resilient and the germs or microbes can be found everywhere.

Germs and microbes can be found everywhere on Earth, from deep in the oceans to even the upper stratosphere of the Earth.

Germs and microbes can also be found inside of solid, radioactive rock.

Although there are some places on Earth, like the intensely hot, salty and acidic ponds of the Dallol geothermal field in Ethiopia or the hyper-arid soils of the Atacama Desert, that are completely devoid of active, living organisms, due to the extreme environments, these areas still contain some traces of inactive DNA or dormant cells that blow in from elsewhere.

You can however, create an effectively germ free environment artificially, like in specialized cleanrooms that are used for microchip manufacturing, hard drive manufacturing or even in sterile hospital environments, but they have to be closely monitored and require constant cleaning and filtration to remain germ free.

And even a hospital can have germs spread, no matter how clean they keep the hospital or even a clinic.

Germs are microorganisms.

Because germs are microorganisms, they can be seen only through a microscope.

Germs can be found everywhere - in the air, soil, and water. There are also germs on your skin and in your body.

While some Germs can be very bad, humans cannot live fully without germs and some types of germs can also be helpful.

Humans cannot survive without microbes.

Biologically, the mitochondria inside your cells—which generate the energy (ATP) required to live—originally evolved from ancient bacteria.

Additionally, your body hosts trillions of microbes that digest food, produce essential vitamins, regulate hormones, and prevent pathogenic infections.

If you consider the concept of a "world without microbes," the reality becomes even more absolute:

Environmental Collapse: Microscopic organisms (like phytoplankton) generate about 50% of our atmospheric oxygen.

Without bacteria and fungi to decompose dead matter and fix atmospheric nitrogen into the soil, the global food chain and ecosystem would collapse rapidly.

Biological Function: You possess billions of microbes in your gut that break down indigestible dietary fiber and synthesize vital nutrients.

Without this microbiome, a person would suffer from chronic malabsorption, severe autoimmune issues, and psychiatric complications, as these microbes produce crucial neurotransmitters.
